Golf legend Tiger Woods is recovering from a crash Tuesday that left him seriously injured.

Woods sustained multiple open fractures to his lower right leg and had a rod placed in his tibia, along with screws and pins and his foot.

Doctors warned Woods faces a long recovery and it’s unclear how soon he will walk again, let alone play golf.

Dr. Chris Brown, an orthopedic surgeon at Rochester Regional Health, joined us on Good Day Rochester for his insight on the type of injuries Woods is dealing with and the type of procedure he underwent.
