A fracture or broken bone can result from trauma, overuse, or osteoporosis and is a common injury that Dr. Brown treats. Some of the more common broken bones are wrist, ankle, hand and clavicle fractures. Most fractures do not need surgery and can heal with a period immobilization in a cast.
